“ This review is for David who ran self check out may,29,2024 around 9pm . David, I hope you know how happy you made me and my husband. Dear kroger mangers, David had pervaded grate costermer service and because of David we will be shopping here instead of Wallmart. David was very helpful and was very friendly and when we needed assistance he rushed over to our aid almost dropping his cane. This nice employee David should definitely get a big appreciation. not saying he doesnt Im shure mangers see hes a good worker if all the other workers are as helpfull and sweet as David then I definitely cant wait to come back ! “ This store is fantastic. The Kroger Marketplace has a nice selection of clothing and home items. The grocery store is full of so many options. The weak spot in this store are the restrooms. They are filthy and falling apart. They dont provide paper towels and the dryers dont work. The soap dispensers are broken. This store certainly does millions of dollars in sales monthly they no doubt can afford to maintain the facilities. ”
“ I was in the store this morning picking several things up but couldnt find an item. After asking several associates if they knew where it was and just getting directed to where they thought it was to no avail. I saw one of the clic list associates and she took the time to look it up on her scanner and walked me to where the item was located! She saved the day for me and Id like to give a shout out to her. “ Clean, well stocked shelves 21st pharmacy trainee, needs some additional training in guest relations. I felt Calla, trainee, was short, rude, and definitely wasnot helpful in answering my needs. And when a supervisor came in back of her to answer another persons needs, I suggested that this person help answer my question. To which Calla answered, she would tell you tell just what I told you! I just left not causing a scene, due to the line of people in back of me. ”

“ The Newark Kroger has a large selection of just about anything you are looking for , and as this is a marketplace, they have more than just the usual grocery store fare. Additionally, there is a state liquor agency and Starbucks onsite. Like I said, just about everything you would want is here. The staff is helpful not just point you in a direction and send you on your way, at least not in my experience. The cheese monger is also knowledgeable and willing to answer questions. Overall a great place to shop. ”
